New General Superior of the Augustinian Missionary Sisters

With profound gratitude to the Spirit and in a ambient of prayer and fraternity, we joyfully share that the election process for the new Superior General of our Congregation took place on the morning of July 23rd.

Sr. Ana María Guantay, a native of Argentina, was chosen for this service, which she accepted with generous willingness.

We entrust to Our Lady of Good Counsel this new stage we are beginning. May She accompany Sr. Ana María on her journey of service and dedication, and the entire family of Augustinian Missionaries in their mission to proclaim the Gospel wherever we are sent.

We give thanks for the light of the Spirit, for the shared trust, and for the communion experienced during these days of the General Chapter.

Ana, dear sister, the Spirit has chosen you today,

to guide our lives with a grateful heart.

Your humble and sincere "yes" inspires us to walk,

being a missionary fire that never ceases to love.

With Mary as our path and Augustine as our inspiration,

bring to the world the good destiny of our great heart.
